PANIC ALARMS

Here at MOSS TN, we believe in the expansion of Alyssa's Law in the state of Tennessee. While every other state that has passed Alyssa's Law states that panic alarms be required in schools, Alyssa's Law in Tennessee says that panic alarms be considered as a safety resource. This is not enough to keep our students safe.

Panic alarms are a proven, effective resource that have saved lives. For Tennessee school districts that agree that panic alarms are a necessary resource, they are subject to funding the technology themselves, or applying for Panic Alarm Pilot Program Grant (HB 2528). This should not be the case.
